| Accutane Drug giant Hoffmann-La Roche Inc. has announced that it will no longer sell Accutane as 2010. Roche has sold the drug to 13 million patients since 1982 stated that the reason was "business". The Accutane "business" accounts for less than 5% of the isotretinoin market. Another reason: Lawsuits, which Roche aggressively defends. Accutane is FDA approved for serious acne. But the drug can have extremely serious side effects such as: including depression, psychosis, suicide, and miscarriage or birth defects. |
